The displayed pieces, predominantly portraying women, embodied the surrealistic vision that defines our collection. Their presence at such a significant cultural and political gathering underscores the global resonance and artistic depth of Surrealistly’s offerings. This year’s convention attracted a host of distinguished guests, including former Prime Minister of Moldova Ion Sturza, U.S. Ambassador to Moldova Kent D. Logsdon, and Moldovan Ambassador to the USA and Mexico, Viorel Ursu. The event was brilliantly organized by Elena Dragalin, the heart of the convention, who notably extended the invitation to Vitalie Burcovschi. Other notable attendees included Michael Lawler, U.S. Congress member and co-chair of the Congressional Moldova Caucus; Doina Lawler from the MAC10 Local Organizing Committee; Mihai Popsoi, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova; and Christopher W. Smith, Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, U.S. Department of State.

The convention serves as a critical platform for strengthening Moldovan-American economic, cultural, and political connections. It aims to forge a robust and unified community dedicated to enhancing the lives of Moldovans in North America and their homeland. Hosted annually in various North American cities, each convention focuses on themes that address the evolving needs of the Moldovan community and developments in Moldova. The inclusion of Surrealistly’s artworks at the Library of Congress is not only a profound honor for artist Vitalie Burcovschi but also a testament to our brand's impact on the international art scene. This recognition reaffirms our commitment to fostering cultural dialogue and promoting artistic innovation.

We are immensely grateful to all who played a part in bringing this vision to life, especially Elena Dragalin, whose foresight and appreciation for art enabled Surrealistly to participate in such a renowned event. We are excited about the future opportunities to showcase our art globally, continuing to inspire and connect communities through the power of creativity.
